Use LogAI's Reporting section: a cross-business Overview plus 43 ready-made reports across Sales, Orders, Finance, Inventory, Leads, Team and Marketing, with KPI tiles, charts, filters, financial-year date presets, period comparison and CSV export.

The Reporting section in the sidebar turns the data you already keep in LogAI — orders and invoices, payments, products, leads and deals, tasks, HR records and campaigns — into ready-made reports. Nothing needs to be set up: every report fills in as records are created. It has nine entries: Overview, Sales, Orders, Finance, Inventory, Leads, Team, Marketing and Books.
The Overview
Reporting → Overview is the business pulse for the chosen period (default: last 30 days). Up to four headline tiles sit at the top, then a By area card for each section you can see — four key figures, a small chart and chips that jump straight into that section's reports (Open takes you to the section). Underneath, Data coverage shows how many orders, invoices, payments, active products, leads, customers, tasks, employees and campaigns exist (all-time) and the date span they cover, so you know what the reports can draw on. The Exports button opens your export history.

Run and export a report
- Pick a section and a report. Open a section under Reporting (say Finance). The section's reports appear as a row of chips — tap one to switch. The report's name, a short description and a basis badge (
Orders,Invoiced,Collected,SnapshotorActivity) explain what it counts. - Set the date range. Click the date button: Today, Yesterday, Last 7/30/90 days, This week, This month, Last month, This quarter, Last quarter, This financial year, Last financial year, All time, or
Custom range. Trend reports add Group by (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly);Compare with previous periodadds % deltas to the tiles and a dashed line on trends. - Filter, search and choose columns.
Filtersholds the report's own filters (status, category, customer, owner, channel and so on, plus a search box) — active filters show as removable chips.Columnslets you show, hide and reorder columns (All/Reset). Click any sortable column header to sort. - Export. Click
Export CSV. The arrow beside it offersDownload with report header,Download data onlyandRun in the background. The file matches exactly what's on screen — same filters, sort and columns.
Large exports run in the background: Up to 10,000 rows download straight away. Above that the button becomes Queue export: the file builds in the background and appears under Export history (from the export menu or the Overview's Exports button), where you click Download CSV. Background files expire after 24 hours — run the report again for a fresh one.
Each report shows KPI tiles (with sparklines on trend reports), one or more charts, and the table — a sortable table on desktop and stacked cards on a phone, with a totals row when an aggregated report fits on one page. Small grey notes under the tiles explain how a figure is derived. The CSV's optional header block records the report, basis, period, timezone, currency, tax mode, generation time and active filters, so two exports with different totals are self-explaining.
Dates, financial year and currency
- Your timezone, not UTC — every report buckets records in your organization's timezone, so a sale late on the 31st lands in the right month.
- Your financial year — *This/Last financial year* and *This/Last quarter* follow your organization's financial-year start month (April by default for India, January elsewhere). The same setting drives record numbering.
- Snapshots ignore dates — Stock on Hand, Stock Valuation, Slow Movers & Dead Stock, Product Catalogue, Receivables Ageing, Open Lead Ageing, Deal Pipeline and Headcount describe the current state, so they hide the date picker and say
Current state · no date range. - Custom ranges can span up to five years; use *All time* for longer. Very long ranges automatically switch to a coarser grouping.
How the money figures are defined
- Net sales (Sales section) is merchandise revenue: order total − shipping − shipping tax − convenience fee − refunds. Order Total — what customers actually paid — stays as its own column. Only confirmed, processed, on-hold, shipped, out-for-delivery and delivered orders count; unpaid checkouts, cancelled and failed orders don't.
- Invoiced Revenue Trend counts what was *billed* on pending, approved, partially paid and paid invoices — it includes CRM sales outside your online store, so it won't match the order-based Sales Trend.
- Collected reports (Payment Register, Collections Trend) count money actually received and refunds paid out, with each receipt's gateway and settlement status.
- Receivables Ageing: outstanding = invoice net amount minus settled receipts, aged from the invoice date.
- Tax Summary for Indian GST organizations is HSN-wise from store order lines with CGST/SGST (intrastate) or IGST (interstate); other organizations get it from invoice lines grouped by jurisdiction and tax rate. GST mode applies when your country is India and you have Indian tax settings under organization settings.
Known limits: Stock Movement is derived: opening stock is worked backwards from today's stock using sales and restocked returns, and manual stock corrections aren't logged, so older periods can drift. Social Publishing reports posts per platform and their status only — engagement (likes, reach) isn't synced; see social analytics for that. Campaign Performance attributes revenue through the campaign's coupon (paid orders that redeemed it).
Who can see what
Opening Reporting needs View on Reports in your role. On top of that, each report needs View on its own data — Invoice reports need Invoices, Payroll Register needs Employees, and so on. Reports you can't access simply don't appear, and the Overview drops sections you can't see, so nobody is shown numbers outside their role. Results are cached briefly (about a minute for ranges that include today, ten minutes for closed periods).
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't Sales Trend match Invoiced Revenue Trend?
They answer different questions. Sales Trend counts storefront orders placed (net of shipping, fees and refunds); Invoiced Revenue Trend counts what was billed on invoices, including CRM sales made outside the store. The basis badge on each report and the header block in the CSV say which one you're looking at.
How is net sales calculated?
Order total minus shipping, shipping tax, convenience fee and refunds, over orders that are confirmed, processed, on hold, shipped, out for delivery or delivered. The Order Total column shows what customers paid including shipping and fees.
Can I export more than 10,000 rows?
Yes. Above 10,000 rows the button changes to Queue export and the CSV builds in the background. Open Export history to download it — files are kept for 24 hours.
Does 'This financial year' follow April–March?
It follows your organization's financial-year start month. If none is set, India defaults to April and other countries to January. This quarter and Last quarter use the same financial-year calendar.
Why can't I see the Finance or Team reports?
You need View on Reports to open Reporting, plus View on each report's own data — for example Invoices or Payments for Finance reports and Tasks or Employees for Team reports. Ask an admin to update your role.
Is the GST tax summary ready for filing?
For Indian GST organizations it lists taxable value and CGST, SGST and IGST HSN-wise from store order lines, which is the base for your return. Always cross-check it with your accountant before filing.
Why don't the stock reports have a date range?
Stock on Hand, Stock Valuation, Slow Movers and Product Catalogue show current stock — LogAI stores today's quantity, not history. Stock Movement does take a period, but its opening balances are derived from sales and returns.
Do social reports show likes and reach?
No. Social Publishing counts posts per platform and whether they were published, scheduled, awaiting approval or failed. Engagement metrics aren't synced into reports.
