AI Studio → Website Builder designs a complete, responsive site from a written brief — theme, fonts, SEO metadata, navigation, and 6–9 sections (Hero, Features, Pricing, Testimonials, FAQ, Contact, and more) — then lets you refine it visually or by chat and publish it to your own Vercel account. This builds marketing sites; for a storefront that sells your products, use the online store builder instead.

Generate, edit, publish

  1. Write the brief. Describe your business and what the site needs — “hero, benefits, testimonials, pricing and a contact form.” Attach up to 4 reference images, toggle Brand to use your name, logo, and colors, and optionally click Enhance to PRD (1 credit) to expand the brief into a full spec.
  2. Generate (5 credits). The AI designs the whole site in about 30 seconds, saved as version 1. Credits refund automatically if generation fails.
  3. Edit visually — free. Reorder, hide, or delete sections in the Page structure panel; click any text with Edit on page to change it inline; restyle colors, fonts, and corner radius in the Theme drawer; preview on desktop/iPhone/Android frames.
  4. Or edit by chat (3 credits). Ask for changes in the composer — “make the hero darker and add a stats section.” Each AI request applies one change and snapshots a restorable version; Versions lists them all with one-click Restore.
  5. Publish. Click Publish to deploy through your organization's Vercel integration (token + project ID required). The Live button opens your deployed URL; publishing is free.

Nothing is ever lost: Every AI change, manual section edit, and rollback creates a version snapshot — restore any of them free, and the restore itself is recorded as a new version.

Requires the AI Tools permission (Editor to generate or edit) and AI credits. Websites are organization-scoped — any teammate with AI Tools access sees the site list. Publishing needs the Vercel token configured under Settings → Integrations.

Website builder vs online store — which do I need?

The website builder creates marketing/landing sites deployed to your Vercel. The online store (Settings → Stores) is a hosted storefront that sells your Catalog products with checkout, orders, and abandoned-cart recovery.

Can teammates see my sites?

Yes — websites are organization-scoped, visible to anyone with AI Tools access. (Images and videos in AI Studio are per-user, by contrast.)
