How LogAI billing works: the 3-day free trial, Pro (₹1,500/user/mo) and Pro Plus (₹2,500/user/mo) plans, buying via Razorpay, seats, AI credit top-ups, invoices, renewals, and cancellation.

LogAI billing is simple: per user, per month, in INR, paid through Razorpay. Every organization starts on a free trial, and everything billing-related lives in one place — Settings → Subscriptions — where you manage your plan, seats, AI credits, invoices, and renewal.

The free trial

Every new organization gets a 3-day free trial with Pro-level access and 20 AI credits, started automatically at creation — no credit card needed. A countdown card in the sidebar shows the time remaining. When the trial ends, the workspace shows a Your trial ended screen and pauses until you pick a plan; your data is fully retained, and subscribing restores everything instantly.

Plans and pricing

AI credits roll over: Credits are additive — plan activation and every monthly renewal add the plan's credits on top of whatever balance you already have. Unused credits never expire at renewal. Credits power the AI Studio and other generation features.

Buy a plan

1. Open Settings → Subscriptions. Or compare plans first on the /plans page — every plan card's Buy button brings you back here.
2. Set your seats. Enter Seats to bill. The minimum equals your organization's current active user count — the seat count must cover every team member. Billing is per seat.
3. Apply a coupon (optional). Enter a code under Coupon code (optional). A valid coupon discounts the per-user price and keeps applying to renewals and seat additions.
4. Pay through Razorpay. Click Buy (or Upgrade while on trial). The Razorpay checkout opens with your details pre-filled; paying by card or UPI sets up a monthly recurring mandate so renewals happen automatically.
5. Activation confirms automatically. After payment the page confirms within about a minute: “Subscription activated successfully.” Your plan credits are added, Drive quota is set, and the charge appears in Billing history.

Monthly renewals

Renewals are charged automatically against your saved mandate. Each renewal bills your current active user count (not the original seat count) at the per-user plan price, advances the billing period one calendar month, and adds the plan's AI credits again. The Current period, Next billing, and Current billing amount are always visible on the subscription page.

If a renewal fails: A failed charge sets the status to PAYMENT HALTED; a bill that outgrew your saved mandate shows Mandate re-authorisation required. In both cases, complete a fresh checkout from Settings → Subscriptions to register a new mandate and restore access — the failure reason is recorded in Billing history.

Add seats mid-cycle

Use the Seat upgrade panel: enter the number of extra seats and click Add seats. You pay a one-time Razorpay charge of the per-user price per added seat (coupon discounts still apply), and your seat count plus next month's bill update immediately.

Top up AI credits

Click Open top-up options on the subscription page. Pick a pack — 100, 500, or 1000 credits — or enter a custom amount (minimum 10) at ₹1 per credit, then complete the Razorpay checkout. Credits appear after the payment is processed. Top-ups require an active paid subscription.

Invoices and billing history

The Billing history table lists every charge — plan activation, renewals, seat additions, credit top-ups, and storage overages — with date, status, and amount. Click Download invoice on any row to open a printable PDF invoice (numbered SUB-{org}-{transaction}).

Drive storage overage: If your organization exceeds its Drive quota, the overage is billed at ₹1,000 per GB per month, charged automatically at the start of the month and listed in Billing history.

Cancel your subscription

1. Open Renewal Controls. On Settings → Subscriptions, click the red Cancel renewal button.
2. Confirm. The dialog explains: “Your current plan will stay active until the end of the current billing period, but no further renewal charges will be made.” Click Confirm cancellation.
3. Use LogAI until the period ends. Your plan stays fully active until the shown date, then expires. After that the workspace pauses until you buy a plan again — your data is retained throughout.

Repurchase waits for the period end: After cancelling, you can't buy a new plan until the already-paid period finishes — the page shows “access continues until {date}”. Buying re-opens the moment it expires.

Who can manage billing

Viewing the subscription page requires the Subscription permission (read), and buying, cancelling, adding seats, or topping up credits requires edit access. The organization's creator (Super Admin) has this by default; other members need it granted under Workspace → Roles & Permissions.
