Meet xLog, LogAI's AI assistant: ask questions about your leads, deals, tasks and orders, get live charts, and let it create records for you — every action behind a confirmation card, free of AI credits.

xLog is LogAI's built-in AI assistant — “ask · analyse · act — confirms before any write.” It lives on Home → Agentic AI and is one keystroke away everywhere: press Ctrl J / ⌘J or click the floating launcher. Opened from another page, it knows what you're looking at — “Summarise this lead” just works.
What you can ask
- Questions about your data. “How many open leads do I have?” · “What tasks are due today?” · “Show this month's leads by status as a chart.” xLog reads your leads, customers, deals, tasks, calendar, products and stock, orders, and analytics — and renders answers as text, tables, or live bar/pie/donut/line charts.
- How-to questions. “How do I connect my Vercel account?” — answered from LogAI's built-in help knowledge base; anything it can't answer (or billing questions) is handed to support@logai.tech.
- Actions — with your approval. “Create a task to call Acme tomorrow.” Write actions never run directly: xLog shows a Confirm write card with the exact fields, and nothing changes until you click
Approve. Approved task changes are stamped “via AI Operator” in the task's activity history.
Free, private, permission-bound: xLog consumes no AI credits and acts strictly with your permissions — data you can't access shows a lock (“no access to …”), and actions re-check your edit rights at approval time. Every tool call is audit-logged. Conversations are private to you, saved in the sidebar (latest 50), renameable and deletable.
What xLog won't do: It can't convert a lead or change lead status — that guarded workflow runs from the lead's page — it refuses duplicate leads (matching email or phone), and it declines off-topic questions like general knowledge or coding.
Working with conversations

Access
The Agentic AI page requires the Report permission. Each xLog lookup then enforces your own per-resource access (Viewer to read, Editor for actions) — the same roles and permissions that govern the rest of the app.
Frequently asked questions
What can xLog actually do?
Answer questions about your workspace data, draw live charts, explain LogAI features from built-in help docs, and take actions — creating or updating leads, tasks, events, products, and categories — always behind a Confirm write card you must approve.
Does xLog cost AI credits?
No — neither xLog nor the AI Insights button consumes credits. Credits are only spent by generation features like AI Studio images/videos and workflow AI drafting.
Can xLog see data I don't have permission for?
No. It acts strictly with your own permissions — blocked lookups show a lock icon, write actions re-check your edit permission at approval, and every tool call is audit-logged.
Are my conversations private?
Yes — saved per user, grouped by day (latest 50), renameable and deletable. No one else in your organization can open them.
Why won't xLog convert my lead?
Lead status changes trigger a guarded workflow (customer creation, conversion tracking), so they're deliberately unavailable to the assistant — change the status from the lead's page under Sales → Contacts.
What's the keyboard shortcut?
Ctrl+J (Windows) or ⌘J (Mac) opens xLog as a slide-over anywhere; ⌘N inside it starts a new chat.
